Congratulations to West Orange-Stark High School teacher Luther Irvin. Mr. Irvin was recognized this week as the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month for September. He is a U.S. History teacher, who is also very adaptable and hard-working. He is kind, supportive, encouraging, and strives to make his lessons fun for students. He was also the primary catalyst for the recent Social Studies distinction achieved by WOS High School.
Mr. Irvin was unable to attend the Board of Trustee meeting this week so we do not have a photo to share; but, we greatly appreciate Mr. Irvin!

Congratulations to Ms. Sonja Johnson for her selection as the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month for October! Ms. Johnson is a new member of the math department at West Orange-Stark Middle School. She is doing a wonderful job. Ms. Johnson is goal-oriented, a hard worker has a great presence, and is a definite asset to the campus! She was recognized at the October meeting of the Board of Trustees.

Melissa Rushing is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month for November 2019. She is an outstanding first-grade teacher who is completely dedicated to ensuring her West Orange-Stark Elementary students receive the best instruction possible. Not only is she dedicated to her students, but she is also dedicated to her team. She is a role model who always provides support to her colleagues. She is an outstanding teacher and leader. Congratulations, we appreciate you!

Congratulations to Mrs. Julie Beavers for her selection as the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month for January! She has been teaching 18 years and loves to teach our 3-year-old class. She is a campus leader and a positive influence. Mrs. Beavers is always willing to do what is asked of her, is creative, gets along with parents
and staff, and makes learning fun!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jessica Tant for being the Teacher of the Month for February! Mrs. Tant is a member of the social studies department at WOS Middle School. She is doing a wonderful job. She is goal orientated, a hard worker, has a great presence, and is a definite asset to the campus. Mrs. Tant also serves as our campus technology guru and she is always willing to lend a helping hand.
