Teacher of month September

Ms. Ashlyn Lopez is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month. Congratulations! She is doing a great job at West Orange - Stark High School in her new role as an assistant volleyball coach. She has made great connections with the athletes and wants to see students succeed. She is also providing an excellent education within the classroom. Ms. Lopez is, additionally, a senior class sponsor. We appreciate you!

Teacher of the month October

West Orange - Stark Middle School teacher Skylar Rowley is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month. She is a charismatic and creative seventh and eighth grade science teacher who cares deeply for our students. Through her inspiration, students strive to reach higher goals and expectations. She is the campus's UIL Coordinator, as well as a UIL coach. Ms. Rowley goes over and beyond so that students can experience success and make relevant connections in life. She is a great asset to the Stallion and Mustang family.

November teacher of the month
West Orange - Stark Elementary teacher Cher Becker is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Becker is a graduate of WOS High School and Lamar University. She has been teaching for 13 years and is an excellent teacher who builds great relationships with her students. We appreciate you, Mrs. Becker! She was recognized as our Teacher of the month earlier this week at a meeting of the Board of Trustees.

Teacher of the month Jan

Congratulations to North Early Learning Center teacher Julie Beavers! She is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month. Ms. Beavers is very helpful, creative, isn't afraid to ask question, and is a team player. She is also a strong teacher with great classroom management who goes above and beyond for her students. She is amazing! We were proud to recognize her with this honor at this week's School Board meeting.

Teacher of the month February

WOS Middle School's Mr. Ulysses Hobbs was recently recognized in front of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees as the Teacher of the Month. He is an excellent teacher who extends his help to not only students, but also to staff and parents. He is a jewel! In addition to teaching, he helps with sports, assembly programs, bus pickup and other areas where extra support might be needed. He is also a great mentor and role model for students. Congratulations Mr. Hobbs, we appreciate you!

Picture not available Congratulations to Mrs. Theresa Cunningham! She is the WOCCISD Teacher of the Month. She teaches mathematics at West Orange - Stark Elementary School. She goes the extra mile to improve student achievement with regards to teaching concepts to mastery. Mrs. Cunningham utilizes effective instructional strategies to support students throughout the school year. We appreciate your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Cunningham! 
(Ms. Cunningham was unable to attend the Board Meeting Monday. Her recognition was accepted on her behalf by Principal Dr. Troy Bethley.

She is very creative and works hard to use her creativity to grow her students and our school. She is always willing to help. We appreciate all she brings to our students and our team!

West Orange - Stark High School business teacher Tiffany McFatter is the WOCCISD May Teacher of the Month. Congratulations! Ms. McFatter is the senior class sponsor and has a great rapport with not only seniors, but all students. She is excellent at making sure senior events move forward smoothly. Additionally, Ms. McFatter is the Head Coach for softball and an assistant coach for girls basketball. We appreciate all that you do, Ms. McFatter!
