Let's hear it for the Department of Child Nutrition! This week, West Orange-Cove CISD was one of four school districts that received the Best of the Bunch Award at this year's Megacon! Megacon is an annual conference hosted by the Texas Department of Agriculture for school nutrition professionals and district leaders. To win this award, school districts must:

Attention Mustangs! There has been an important revision made to the 2025-2026 calendar. The last day of school, May 21, will now be a full day instead of a half day. This change was made to ensure the District met the minimum operational minutes required by the TEA.

The MOCK STAAR will take place at West Orange-Stark Middle School, starting with Reading Language Arts (RLA) for 6th to 8th grade on Wednesday, February 4. This will be followed by Science for 8th grade only on Tuesday, February 10. Next, 8th grade History will be on Thursday, February 12.
