Today, the Read & Roll bus stopped by Navy Park, giving local children the opportunity to pick out a free book, enjoy a good read, and receive a free lunch!
Through this opportunity, students can continue building their reading skills, discover new stories, and stay engaged in learning throughout the summer while still spending time with family and friends!
Missed this stop? Don't worry! The Read & Roll Bus will be parked on Bluebonnet Dr. at Roselawn Park this Thursday. Be sure to stop by, grab a book, enjoy a free lunch, and join us for another day of reading and fun!

At this year's West Orange-Cove CISD Retirement and Employee Celebration, employees across the district were recognized for their hard work, commitment, and effort.
Attendees enjoyed a night full of laughter and friendship, celebrating the effort they’ve put in to elevating WOCCISD. Award recipients and retirees were honored for their years of service and building #mustangmomentum!

As summer kicks off, incoming freshmen attended the WOS Fish camp yesterday to get ready for their journey at the high school!
Students started by creating name tags and then had the opportunity to talk with our High School counselors to learn more about classes, schedules, and what to expect during their stay over the next four years. This was followed up by dispersing into their hands-on activities across campus.
Students got to design WOS Fish Camp cups with the business department, paint landscapes with the art department, and build Electrical Tower base models with the science department. It was a day filled with learning, creativity, and happiness as our future Mustangs got their taste of high school life!

REMINDER: Summer is right around the corner, and that means it's time for the West Orange-Cove CISD summer feeding program! This program provides free, nutritious meals for students during the summer so they can stay healthy and active. 🍎🥪🥦
All students under the age of 18 are welcome; they do not need to be enrolled at West Orange-Cove CISD to participate. Meals will be provided at the campuses below for the given dates, Monday through Thursday, with breakfast served from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and lunch served from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Last week, our Littlest Mustangs held their end-of-the-year parties, celebrating their first year as Mustangs. Students enjoyed singing, dancing, and of course, snacks! Teachers also handed out awards and superlatives, showcasing how bright these students already shine! ✨

Yesterday, WOS Director of Athletics, Coach Hiawatha Hickman, was honored at the Museum of the Gulf Coast as a recipient of the Bum Phillips Golden Triangle High School Coach of the Year Award. Congratulations coach! It's truly been an unforgettable year for the Mustangs!
West Orange-Stark Middle School held its 8th-Grade Celebration ceremony this morning, as the Class of 2030 makes the leap from Stallions to Mustangs. Students, continue to work hard as you enter your final years at WOCCISD. Your future is bright and full of possibilities!
