Alright Seniors! Today is the start of Free College Application Week! Now's the time to start planning for life after graduation!

Here's what we have planned for the week:

🟡🔴🟢 Monday – CCMR Color Wars: College = Yellow, Career = Red, Military = Green
💻 Tuesday – Apply Yourself Day: College Application Lab in Room 505 to assist seniors with applications
🎓 Wednesday – College Colors Day: Wear your favorite college shirt/colors + Lamar University will be on campus
👩‍⚕️👨‍🏫 Thursday – Dress for Your Future Day: Students and staff are encouraged to dress for their future/dream career
🎉 Friday – Senior Celebration: Music, snacks, photo booth, giveaways, and prize drawings for participating seniors

🍦 We're also challenging the Class of 2027!
Our Senior Sundaes Challenge is for 90% of our senior class to submit at least one application to a college, university, or trade school. If they reach 90%, they earn a Senior Sundaes Ice Cream Party!

Seniors will also have a College Week Passport with activities to complete for chances to win prizes. We will be building our "Mustangs Are Going Places!" wall in the 500 Hall throughout the week, adding a star for each senior and college they apply to, along with students' future career goals.

Last Friday, the Mustangs brought home the W for their first district game, clashing with the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns and giving them the first loss of their season.

While the Mustangs fell behind early in the game, by the third quarter they proved their versatility and tenacity as a team. They not only closed the score gap, but shut down their opponent in the second half, securing the win 42-28.

Congratulations, Varsity Mustangs, you earned it! And a MASSIVE shoutout to the M3 Band, which claimed its own victory as the 409Sports Blitz! Band of the Week on 12News! Thank you to all of #MustangNation who cast your votes last weekend!

Our StuCo students had a great time lending a helping hand and giving back to our community!

The Stallions in Ms. Parker's Theatre classes at West Orange-Stark Middle School took the stage this morning to perform their self-written plays. Students have been working on their stage presence, scene blocking, and using space and props for their performances.
