Meet Dr. Alicia Sigee

Dear West Orange-Cove CISD Community, 

I am truly honored and excited to serve as your new superintendent. I have been part of the Mustang community since 2014, starting my journey as assistant principal at West Orange-Stark High School. My experiences in the hallways-learning from, mentoring, and leading students and staff-have deepended my passion for our blue and silver. My background in the U.S. Army and my experience in critical healthcare and various roles as an educator and administrator have given me valuable perspectives and introduced me to innovative and creative ways to tackle challenges and build relationships. 

My leadership philosophy is rooted in equity, integrity, and community principles. I believe in fostering a collaborative, data-driven learning environment, prioritizing academic achievement and student well-being. I am dedicated to building strong partnerships and ensuring that decisions across the district reflect inclusivity, transparency, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

My goal is to build on the work of my predecessor while creating new opportunities to enhance student achievement and prospects for all students. Our district is filled with knowledge and potential, and I am excited to collaborate with everyone. I will engage with stakeholders approaching each interaction with an open mind and a committment to fostering positive relationships that will help advance the district.

Together, we will ensure that our schools are safe and inspiring environments for our students to learn. I look forward to leading the students, faculty, staff and community of West Orange-Cove CISD.
