Students compete in regional STEM meet

The 2019 TAME Golden Triangle STEM Competition was hosted by Lamar University. The event brought together more than 75 student competitors from across the region. Texas students from grades 6-12 competed in individual math and science tests and as part of a team to solve an Engineering Design Challenge. 
 
Two West Orange – Stark students competed in the event and placed within the top six in their respective events to earn TAME recognition. Great achievement!!!
---WOS Middle School eighth grade student Torri Culpepper placed sixth in science and sixth in math. Additionally, she was a member of the team which won 1st place in the Engineering Design Challenge.
---WOS High School student Darian Hardin placed sixth in 9th grade math.
