Celebrating Counselor's Week with Julie Allensworth

Julie Allensworth - Mental Health/Disabilities/Counselor

My name is Julie Allensworth or Mrs. Julie as kids call me. I have lived all of my life in Orange. I have been employed with the district for 26 years, all in the same position of Mental Health/Disabilities/Counselor. I received my Bachelor's in Family and Community Services, as well as, a Masters in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I work closely with Leslie Valentine a Licensed Professional Counselor. She offers her services free for all our children, staff and parents, to schedule an appointment or for more information call North ELC at 882-5434.

I have two children and five grandchildren. My children and four of the five grandchildren are graduates or attending West Orange. I truly bleed blue and silver!!!! I love to read, cross-stitch, crochet and watch Mustang Football.
