West Orange – Cove CISD’s District Parent Advisory Committee is planning an event that will allow families and community to enjoy a day of fun and free activities with their children at Lion’s Den Park Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
“This is the second year for Family Fun Day. The event last year was so well received that the Parent Advisory Committee wanted to continue it again this year.
We’re looking forward to a wonderful fun-filled day with our students, faculty, and staff,” Anitrea Goodwin, WOCCISD Executive Director of Federal Programs and Special Initiatives, said.
All four of West Orange – Cove’s campuses will provide student performances.
Activities at Family Fun Day include numerous board games under the main pavilion, face painting, a moon walk, and a giant slide.
Field events will also allow for student and family participation.
Food, sold by Project Graduation, will also be available.
“Invitations to attend have been extended to students, parents, staff, parents, and community,” Goodwin said.
