It was all smiles as dads and students enjoyed playing catch, practicing pitching, and knocking it out of the park with tee ball. A great opportunity to bond and spend some quality time, all while staying active.

Attention Mustangs! There has been an important revision made to the 2025-2026 calendar. The last day of school, May 21, will now be a full day instead of a half day. This change was made to ensure the District met the minimum operational minutes required by the TEA.

It's one of the oldest mysteries ever: which came first, the chicken or the egg? Today, North Early Learning Center may have finally cracked the case! Texas A&M AgriLife visited our Little Mustangs today to teach them about life cycles, how animals grow and develop, and how to properly care for animals. The students were excited to see the chicks hatch before their eyes! We can't decide which is cuter: the newly hatched chicks or our smiling Little Mustngs!

On Monday, staff at North Early Learning Center spent their professional development day training on PreK inclusion strategies and Region V training for ESL strategies.
Teachers also held sessions on transitions (songs, chants, and more), social-emotional learning (breathing techniques and calming music), literacy and math center ideas, and anchor charts for PreK.
PD days promote team building and ensure teachers have the resources to provide an exceptional education for our Little Mustangs.

Success in the classroom starts on Capitol Hill! Board Trustee Linda Platt-Bryant travelled to Washington, D.C. to attend the Texas Federal Advocacy Conference.
