7th-grade science students at West Orange-Stark Middle School got some hands-on experience of the aquatic variety with a visit to Shangri La Botanical Gardens. This anatomy lesson involved dissecting a squid to learn about its different body parts and how they function. Field trips like these provide students with engaging educational experiences, reinforcing what they learn in the classroom.
Our Mustangs were also praised by the staff for how well-behaved they were during their visits. Great job, Mustangs!

First place in both categories will advance to compete in the County Final at the Lutcher Theatre, where they will have the opportunity to win up to $ 6,000 in scholarship money. 💰

All A students from West Orange-Stark High School earned a special trip to Main Event in Beaumont by making it onto the Superintendent's Honor Roll for the first semester. They had a blast playing arcade games, bowling, and competing in laser tag before a well-deserved lunch.
