October is National Principals Month, a time when campus leaders nationwide are honored for their vital role in managing school operations, supporting teachers, guiding student achievement, and building strong community cultures. Throughout October, we will honor the hardworking principals who serve West Orange-Cove CISD; we kick things off by recognizing North Early Learning Center principal Julie Beavers.

With 25 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to helping children grow, supporting teachers, and building strong relationships with families. Throughout her career, she has served in several roles, including Head Start/Pre-K teacher, Kindergarten teacher, Master Teacher, and Education Coordinator. Each experience prepared her to lead a campus and serve the school community in a new way.

Becoming a principal was a natural next step in Julie’s passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and educators. She believes strong schools are built through relationships, teamwork, high expectations, and a shared commitment to doing what is best for children. One of her favorite aspects of being a principal is supporting and encouraging teachers and staff while also watching young children learn, grow, and discover how capable they are.

Julie especially loves the unique energy of an early childhood campus. She believes the preschool years provide the foundation for a child’s future success, and she wants every child and family who enters North Early Learning Center to feel welcomed, valued, and supported.

As Principal, Julie is committed to creating a positive campus culture where children are excited to learn, families feel connected to their school, and staff members know their work makes a difference. She is honored to serve the students, families, staff, and community of North Early Learning Center and looks forward to continuing to work together as One Team–One Beat while Building Bright Futures for every child.
