West Orange-Cove CISD families will have the opportunity to complete back-to-school registration this year at the Mustang Roundup-One Stop Shop, which will take place on July 16th at West Orange-Stark High School.

“The idea for Mustang Roundup came from our desire to make back-to-school preparation as convenient and accessible as possible for our families,” said Tiffany Brown, Deputy Superintendent for West Orange-Cove CISD. “[It] benefits the community by providing a centralized, one-stop opportunity for families to complete essential school-related tasks in a single visit.”    

Families will be able to speak directly with district staff who can answer questions, provide guidance, and receive direct assistance for the start of the school year. Brown also encouraged families to bring all necessary registration documents, including a valid photo ID, proof of residency, birth certificates, immunization records, and any other applicable paperwork needed for enrollment or updates. Having these documents readily available will help ensure the registration process runs smoothly and efficiently. 

Families who are not able to attend Mustang Roundup can complete the registration process online through the district’s enrollment system. In addition, families can visit their child’s campus during regular business hours for in-person assistance.

“Mustang Roundup is more than just an enrollment event—it is an opportunity to welcome families, build relationships, and ensure students are set up for success from day one,” Brown said. “We encourage all families to take advantage of this event to ask questions, connect with district staff, and access valuable resources that support both academic and personal growth.“
