2018-2019 Employee of the Month

 

	West Orange - Stark High School custodians were recognized this week as WOCCISD Employees of the Month. Congratulations to Barbara Boston, Maxine Clark-Lester, Bonnie Coleman, and Donald Green! This summer was extra busy because WOS High School held two sessions of summer school instead of one. This team did an excellent job of meeting summer needs and, at the same time, preparing the campus for the start of school.   They are pictured with Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris, Principal Wilt Alexander, and Maintenance Director Greg Willis.
	Congratulations, Adarious McGhee! He is part of the custodial staff at West Orange - Stark Middle School. He is always hard at work; and, no task is too difficult or miniscule for him. He also greets everyone as if they are life-long friends. Mr. McGhee gives 112% and more to make sure our campus is at its best for our students and staff. We don't know what we would do without him.   He is pictured receiving his recognition at this week's meeting of the Board of Trustees with his Principal Broderick McGrew and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris.
	The WOCCISD Employee of the Month is Sandra Meche! She is a Dyslexia Specialist at WOS Elementary. She also previously taught second and third grade. She has been a teacher for more than 20 years, all of them with the West Orange Cove CISD. Mrs. Meche has a passion for seeing students learn. She is a great asset to our District! Mrs. Meche was recognized at the Board of Trustees meeting held earlier this week.   She is pictured with Associate Principal Benny Smith and WOC Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris.
	Angel Istre was recognized this week as the WOCCISD Employee of the Month. Congratulations, Ms. Istre! She is a classroom assistant at North Early Learning Center, has excellent attendance, and always participates in events. She assists everyone when they need her help. She is very patient, loving, caring, creative and helpful. We are so glad to recognize Ms. Istre!   She is pictured with North ELC Education Coordinator Ola Conner and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris.
	Donna Budwine is the WOS Middle School Employee of the Month! Congratulations! She is the leader of the Child Nutrition Department at the Middle School. She and her team do an outstanding job. Ms. Budwine makes certain that all students, on-time or not on-time, have breakfast to start the school day. She and her team are always willing and ready to provide meals to our children. Additionally the cafeteria, through her leadership, continues to receive perfect health inspection scores. We are very proud of all that she does.   She is pictured with WOSMS Principal Mr. McGrew and WOCCISD Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris.
	Congratulations to Chatana Thibideaux! She is the WOCCISD Academic Alternative Center (AAC) Employee of the Month. Ms. Thibodeaux is a graduate of West Orange - Stark and is dependable, reliable, responsible, and a true team member. She is a great administrative assistant and campus secretary, performing her duties with great proficiency. Ms. Thibodeaux communicates well with the staff, students and parents. She is a great addition and asset to the AAC family.   She is pictured with AAC Coordinator Beverly Robinson and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris
	Congratulations to Mrs. Yunekia Pollard. She is the WOCCISD Employee of the Month! Mrs. Pollard is a Math Coach at West Orange - Stark Elementary. Mrs. Pollard is a true team player. She supports students, teachers and campus administrators on a daily basis. Mrs. Pollard assists teachers with planning and creating effective lesson plans to enhance student achievement. What's more, Mrs. Pollard supports all learning goals! Thank you Mrs. Pollard for all that you do! She is pictured receiving her recognition at the WOCCISD Board of Trustee Meeting this week. She is with WOS Elementary Principal Dr. Troy Bethley and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris.
	Congratulations to the WOCCISD April Employee of the Month Maggie Pachuca! Ms. Pachuca, a North Early Learning Center classroom paraprofessional, always gives 112 percent to our students. She is very student centered and goes above and beyond for all. She keeps our campus running smoothly and is always willing to give a helping hand. Mrs. Pachuca is an amazing member of our team!
	Congratulations to West Orange - Stark High School receptionist Nicci Strother! She is the WOCCISD Employee of the Month for May. She was recognized for this honor at the May School Board meeting. Ms. Strother does a great job in the front office greeting guests and assisting visitors. Additionally, she is tasked with acquiring substitutes for our staff and does a fantastic job with this. She is an integral part of campus operations.   She is pictured with WOS High School Principal Wilt Alexander and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris. Thank you for all that you do, Ms. Strother!
	Congratulations, Byron Guillory! Our district electrician is a true Mustang! He loves everything about WOS, from being a graduate to serving the faculty and students.This dedicated worker can be depended upon early in the morning or even late at night to support campus programs; and, he is always ready to help however needed. Team Mustang is fortunate to have him and we appreciate you, Mr Guillory!   Mr. Guillory (center) is pictured with Buildings & Grounds Director Greg Willis and Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris. Mr. Guillory was honored at the June meeting of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees.
