West Orange - Stark High School sophomore Patricia LaFleur was recognized this week as our High School Student of the Month. She is an exemplary student, enrolled in Early College High School, and a tennis player. Patricia is also helpful and reaches out to make others feel welcome. She always has a smile on her face. She was recognized in front of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees. Congratulations!

October Student of the month

West Orange - Stark Middle School eighth grade student Marqurious Garrett is the WOCCISD Student of the Month. Congratulations! He is one of many exceptional students at the Middle School. This respectable and well-mannered young man is an honor roll student and an efficient office aide. He accomplishes all that is asked of him and more. We are proud of Marqurious.

November student of the month

Congratulations to West Orange - Stark Elementary fifth grader Elton Hajdari. He is the WOCCISD Student of the Month! Elton is a member of the Student Council and National Elementary Honor Society. He is a leader and exhibits this through his interactions with his peers, respect for himself, and for others. Elton was recognized for being an outstanding student at the meeting of the WOC Board of Trustees earlier this week.

January Student of the month

Cheyenne Shaunesey is the WOCCISD Student of the Month. Congratulations Cheyenne! Cheyenne is a student at North Early Learning Center who is always helping other students in the classroom. She is also a great teacher helper. She is an excellent listener, sweet and kind. Keep up the great work, Cheyenne!

February Student of the month

Congratulations to Alicia Odom! She was recently recognized as the WOCCISD Student of the Month. She attends WOS Middle School and has a deep passion for learning and an extremely high work ethic. She recently scored in the top three percent in the NATION on the PSAT! She competes in UIL prose, poetry, and general math. Her favorite subject is math. She is rarely without a book and takes every opportunity to do any type of art. She is an amazing young woman. We are very proud of you!

March Students of the month

These two young men are West Orange - Stark Elementary School students of the Month! Sean Alexander King is the author and Travion Mills is the illustrator of a book available for purchase on Amazon. The book is:
"Trouble Maker and The Joker: Attack of The Elementer"
Sean and Travion are both third grade students who were recognized for their accomplishment in front of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees last night! Great job and congratulations on your selection(s)!

April Student of the month

Congratulations to Annalee Jacobs! Annalee was recently recognized as the WOCCISD April Student of the Month. She is a student at North Early Learning Center. She is smart and has a huge heart! She is always willing to help a friend or staff member. Keep up the great work, Annalee!

May Student of the month

Congratulations to West Orange - Stark High School's Manuel Franklin! Manuel was recognized as the WOCCISD May Student of the Month during a recent Board of Trustee meeting. Manuel, a senior, is the drum major of the Mighty Mustang Marching Band, a choir student, a National Honor Society member, a student leader, and Mr. WOS High School. We will miss your amazing energy Manuel! We wish you the best!
