2016-2017

	June 2017: Divon Edwards was recognized as the WOCCISD Employee of the Month of June. Ms. Edwards is a proud WOS graduate and supporter, as well as a member of of our Human Resources department. She gives 112% to the district everyday and goes beyond the call of duty to help others. She is compassionate, determined, and dedicated. She is always positive and a shining example of excellence. Ms. Edwards is very dedicated to the employees, staff, students, and community of this district. She is pictured with Superintendent Rickie Harris.
Photo not Available	May 2017: Angela Greer is the May West Orange -Cove CISD Employee of the Month and the Dean of Instruction at West Orange - Stark High School. She is instrumental in campus operations, awards programs, technology instruction, assisting teachers with fine arts, and any other request that is made of her. She is a great assist to our school! Her award was presented at the WOCCISD School Board Meeting held at the end of May.
	April 2017: Congratulations to North Early Learning Center Paraprofessional Debra Merritt! Ms. Merritt engages students with her creative ways of teaching math. She is a role model to other teacher assistants, very energetic and outgoing. She is pictured with Sherry Hardin, principal, and Superintendent Rickie Harris.
	March 2017: April Rose is the West Orange - Cove CISD Employee of the Month. Ms. Rose is an exceptionally dedicated person who tirelessly works to ensure the success of the children that she works with every day. In addition, she has volunteered on several campus committees. Ms. Rose also serves on the District Educational Improvement Committee and is a PTA representative for the campus. She goes above and beyond every day. We appreciate you! 	February 2017: Congratulations to West Orange - Stark Middle School Life Skills Paraprofessionals Alexandra Gill and Judy Toney. These ladies were honored as WOCCISD Employees of the Month at this week's meeting of the Board of Trustees. Principal Dr. Anthony Moten said, "Both ladies have a huge heart for students. They are very creative and supportive of the campus and district. Both are also very dependable and have one of the best working relationships I've seen." Congratulations, ladies! They are pictured with Dr. Moten and Superintendent Rickie Harris.
	January 2017: Congratulations to Ella Barlow! She is the North Early Learning Center Employee of the Month. She was presented with the recognition at this week's meeting of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees. Ms. Barlow is a dedicated and tenured teacher assistant. She engages students in high energy math lessons on a daily basis. Ms. Barlow is not only a leader on the campus for other assistants, but she is the campus cheerleader. Students and staff are greeted each morning with her contagious smile and enthusiastic cheers. 	November 2016: Shylandra Jackson is the West Orange - Stark Elementary School Employee of the Month. Congratulations!! She was presented with the recognition at this week's meeting of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees. Ms. Jackson is the library aide at the elementary school. She ensures that the library program runs smoothly, in the absence of the librarian. She also made sure that the campus Book Fair was a success, including working the Fair when she was not required to do so. 	October 2016: Jakesha Wright is the West Orange - Stark Middle School Employee of the Month. Mrs. Wright is an essential component of the Middle School staff who has taken ownership of the campus library and revitalized the WOS Middle School Book Fair. Ms. Wright is pictured with WOS Middle School Principal Dr. Anthony Moten and WOCCISD Superintendent Rickie Harris.
	September 2016: Congratulations to West Orange - Stark High School's Shirley Teal. Ms. Teal is a long-time front office clerk who works extremely well with others. She supports West Orange - Stark High School endeavors and is an outstanding source of support for High School assistant principals. Her knowledge and experience are a key part of the High School's success. Ms. Teal is pictured with WOS High School Principal Rod Anderson and WOCCISD Superintendent Rickie Harris.
	July 2016: Congratulations to Robin Hataway, WOCCISD Director of Finance. She is this month's Education Service Center Employee of the Month! Ms. Hataway is an outstanding team player with a tremendous work ethic. She is a great supporter of students and staff. Ms. Hataway is pictured with WOCCISD Superintendent Rickie Harris.
