Students Engage in Advanced Technology Applications
Recently, this West Orange-Stark High School student
participated in creating a working robot at a local area
contest at Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD. Each robot was
given a “mission” to accomplish.
Students
had to build, program, and successfully execute the
mission within a specified time frame. The result is
that WOSHS students learned higher-level problem solving
strategies, project planning, collaboration, and
time-management skills while having “fun.”

Clay Animation
West Orange-Stark Middle School students
participate in creating clay animation projects for
Texas Computer Education
Association (TCEA) competition. Students received
certifications and ribbons for their participation.
