Parents and guardians,

Welcome to our dynamic, innovative district. You have a choice as to where to educate your child and I am honored that you have chosen us. This is an awesome responsibility that I do not take lightly. I will work diligently to make decisions that are researched and thoughtful to ensure that we provide the best education for your child. Furthermore, I will work with you and within the community to cultivate meaningful relationships and experiences to benefit our students.

My top priority is to enable every student to be successful in life no matter how success is defined for your child. As we are a school district in the 21st Century, we will prepare students for jobs not yet imagined. Our students will continue to have access to the best educators in Texas who build personal, compassionate relationships and design engaging, creative, innovative and challenging lessons. Staff is empowered with continued training and resources to tailor instruction for individual student needs. I am committed to involving students in the learning process and value them as the future leaders of our community. Our administrators are passionate about education and foster successful learning communities. They work collaboratively with staff and community to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in our students. Our school board is the backbone of the district by adopting policies and making decisions that support the mission, vision and values of the district. They advocate for all students by voicing the expectations of the community.

At WOCCISD, you are integral to the education of your child. We are committed to help the hopes and dreams for your child to become a reality. This process will include communication, high expectations, and involvement to foster a partnership with the school. Learning doesn’t stop when the day ends but continues with your care and guidance, in addition to being involved in school and community activities and organizations.
