Aspiring Administrators Leadership Academy

WOCCISD will be the premier district in Orange County, Texas regarding how we invite, engage, develop, support and maximize the incredible assets and talents of our leaders. Mr. Rickie Harris, Superintendent of Schools, has issued a strong call to action for WOCCISD to examine and improve current leadership development practices to ensure a learning organization that attracts, develops, and retains talented leaders at all levels.

 

Therefore, the Aspiring Administrator Leadership Academy was established to identify, recruit, and equip educators with a variety of levels and specializations and the broad knowledge, skills, and experiences that prepare them for potential positions in school and district leadership.

 

The WOCCISD Aspiring Administrator Leadership Academy is a school year-long professional development program for educational leaders who are interested in pursuing a principalship. The academy is designed to refine and extend knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to lead successful schools.
