High School Principal announced

 

Gravis Alexander has been named principal at West Orange – Stark High School. The announcement was made at a called meeting of the WOCCISD Board of Trustees June 8.

 

Mr. Alexander holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin University; as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Lamar University in Beaumont. Additionally, he holds a superintendent’s certificate. Additional certifications include principal / mid-management, biology, physical science, and kinesiology.

 

An educator for 26 years, he is experienced in all levels of campus administration and leadership. He has served most recently as an assistant principal at Corsicana High School. He has also served in other local school districts including Silsbee and Port Neches-Groves. He was also principal of West Hardin High School.

 

He and his wife have two daughters.
