I have reconnected with several old friends through this web site -- my two best
friends and other friends from the Class of Stark High 1966. My best friend and
I joined the Army together in Nov. 1966. My other best friend, killed in
Vietnam, sister, who only lives 27 miles from me. Thank you for this web site,
it's GREAT!

Class of '89 just got together and had a blast at the class reunion. I saw classmates
that I haven't seen since graduation. I have definitely reconnected to old friends. Thanks
to Darryl Stilley and Marla Dearing for making me feel so welcome and missed. I tried to
dance with everyone but especially special friends....Angie, Marla, Darryl, Dale,
Stephanie, Kevin, Tremain, Paula, Ann, Elzora, Inez, Averil, Ky, and Athena. And to Mr.
C.H., I especially wanted to see you...you look great and kisses to your wife...lol.

The 1978 graduating class of WO-S, the FIRST graduating class of WO-S, celebrated our 25th
class reunion Friday 7/25/03 - Sunday 7/27/03. Friday the class members gathered at
Spinning Wheels skating rink from 12-4 for our family picnic. Later that night class
members only had a wonderful time at the CERA clubhouse where we shared high school
stories and viewed old high school pictures. We danced the night away as we prepared for
our Saturday night dance routine. Saturday night we had over 700 in attendance at the VFW
as Mr. Andrew Hayes introduced all participating class members. What-A-Blast! as well as a
blessing to come together for a joyous occasion. It did not end Saturday, we gathered for
Sunday worship at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where we praised God and gave Him the glory
for the 25th class reunion. No, it did not stop there. We gathered for a departure at the Thomen Community Center for a lavish Banquet. As we departed, we thanked our President
Mark Mitchell for a well put together reunion and we all look forward to our 30th class
reunion.

We had a 36th year reunion 6-21-2003 and about 40 classmates and friends came.

I think this website is great. It helps us (class & school mates) keep in touch. I
enjoy reading about everyone's lives now and to see how they are doing. I have personally
been uplifted by getting updates on many of my old friends and reconnecting with them. No

The reunion (West Orange Chiefs Multi Year Class Reunion) was a huge success with about
120 alumni in attendance. Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Huff, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Johnson and Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Hattman joined us....The weather cooperated and the conversation was as brisk as
the breeze under the lovely shade trees at the Firestone Club House. People laughed and
talked, cameras flashed and there were lots of "remember when's." If you were
unable to attend, please start planning for next year's Chief's reunion. Same time and
place. Watch this site for specifics.

OH..MY..GOD...BECKY...LOOK...AT...THAT...E-MAIL....hahahaha...I was sooo excited to have
heard back from several people that I had wondered about for so long...Chad Thevis, Jean
Couvillion-Hernandez and Kenneth Lester...I was SO amazed to find that this website even
existed when Ann Schultz told me about it...currently enjoying exchanging stories with
them. See now...chemistry...I'll never use, but webpage: I will (okay that was a bad one).

A long lost girl friend Pam Roberts that I knew in ninth grade located my name through the
web site and has been writing me now for two years. Hopefully she will join our next

Lorraine was such a big help in getting the announcement out about the Stark
Tiger Band Reunion. The reunion was a wonderful success and everyone had a great

My father, Jep Turner, graduated from Orange HIgh School in 1938. I was
wondering if there were any other "Oldie But Goodies" checking in. Jep's not
only alive, but is also kicking! His e-mail is AnchorRite@aol.com.
He is the inventor of the "Mighty-Mite" small boat anchor and still takes part
in manufacturing them. Married for over 45 years, four children and six grandchildren.

I had heard of a comedy act in Orange from a neighbor in Austin. I discovered by the
"links" that it was none other than a classmate, Chuck Knipp. The "Shirley
Q. Lacquor" person surprises me none at all. Chuck was always a talent theatrically.
It was nice to chat with him and catch up on people still living in Orange.
