All Parents, as well as the community, are invited to participate in the District's Partners in Education Program! West Orange - Cove CISD requests that each potential volunteer complete a Volunteer Letter of Interest (see form below) that indicates the days and times at which he/she is available, the campus that he/she wishes to serve, and also indicate in what area that he or she would like to assist...i.e. classroom helper, tutor, mentor, etc... Volunteers should also indicate if he/she has any special talents/hobbies that they would be interested in sharing with our students. Additionally, West Orange - Cove CISD requires that every volunteer, like every WOCCISD employee, complete a criminal history authorization form (form is also available below). Completed interest and authorization forms may be returned to the campus office, the Administration Building, or to the the PIE Office. Volunteers will be notified by postcard once they have been cleared to serve. Volunteers not cleared maintain parent rights of involvement in their child's education.

At the Annual PIE Recognition Program, District volunteers are recognized for their contributions of hours and years of service. Each time a volunteer contributes time, that time is logged on a campus or department sign in sheet. Volunteers who perform duties for programs while at home are encouraged to submit their own volunteer time sheet (see below).
